Proudly Servicing San Antonio and Surrounding Areas With Professional Piano Tunings

Perfect Pitch Piano Tuning was founded on one key principle: You will enjoy playing your piano more if it is in tune.Pianos need regular tuning at least once or twice a year, as recommended by manufacturers. Other factors like whether your piano was just moved, or changes in humidity, can also greatly affect the pitch of the instrument.Nevertheless, many people go years or even decades without getting their piano tuned. With over a decade of experience as a performer and competitor, I can say with certainty that a well-maintained piano makes a world of difference. Both as a performer, a teacher, and a tuner, I firmly believe that a piano that is kept in tune is not only more enjoyable to play, but much more enjoyable to listen to.
Standard Tuning
This is the tuning which should be done every six months. A standard tuning includes aurally adjusting each string back to concert pitch, creating an equally tempered scale all the way up the piano.
Pitch Raise
Sometimes when a piano has not been tuned for a long time, all of the notes have dropped considerably lower than concert pitch. In order to correct this, tuners must essentially tune the piano twice in order to get the notes to stay in their correct positions. This service is recommended on a case-by-case basis.
Clean pianos are not just about looks - a pianos longevity and playability are directly tied to how well they are maintained. You may be surprised what is inside your piano, whether it be coins, pencils, or just a lot of dust. This thorough service will make sure nothing is inside your piano that shouldn't be.
